I make a special point of running into that pole every time I visit Powell's. Perhaps that's why my landlord has been hiding his car keys from me. Just so you know, contrary to what others say, I am actually quite adept at test-driving new sportscars. When you get your next car and you need someone to give it a whirl before you get behind the wheel, I'm your gorilla.
Why would I give someone else all the fun of being the first person to drive a newly purchased sportscar?
You want to be sure that it's safe in case it crashes, right?!
That's getting close to the territory where if another thing hit it, I'd run out of the garage as soon as possible!
