Breakfast at Leela

On a side trip to Bangalore, the four of us stayed at the exquisite Leela Palace. This hotel really was like a modern-day palace! The building and the grounds were beautiful, part of which can be seen in this picture of John finishing breakfast. Oh, and breakfast was a delectable feast! Not only were there several buffets to choose from, but guests had the opportunity to order items off of a menu IN ADDITION to the pastry buffet, the Indian buffet, the "western" buffet, the juice buffet, the dessert buffet, the salad buffet, and any other buffets I may have missed. Needless to say, we left stuffed. Favorite food item: paneer parathas, a warm flat bread filled with homemade cheese. MMMmmmm!
