Chrissy took us to this place kind of near her condo to see some big trees and do a little hiking. This is John and his aunt Chrissy looking at the cross-section of a Redwood cut down in the 1930's. The people at the park were nice enough to count all of the rings, and labeled them according to major the events that happened during the life of the tree, such as the birth of Jesus.
