The Aquabus Experience

When we were in Vancouver we took an Aquabus to Granville Island, which had a large public market and lots of shops/art galleries. Loved the concept of the Aquabus...Some guy tools around in a little boat until he sees people at the end of the dock waiting to go to or from the island. On one of our trips a local guy told the "bus driver" a story about how he told the driver on a different day to "keep the change" when he paid. Apparently all of the other people on the Aquabus were tourists, and after hearing this figured that they were expected to tip. The driver for that day asked the guy if he could ride his boat all day. :)
