You'd think that a business school ranked among the top 20 in the country would have an MBA lounge nicer than some second-hand furniture on crappy linoleum floors. Supposedly there are plans for a new business school facility to replace this one...Let's hope they come to fruition.

Eww!
The library science department in my grad school was the 2nd largest school after the law school, but we didn't even have proper computers until my last semester (the former president of the university thought that computers would be a fad, along with overhead projectors). Our student lounge was smaller and crappier than your business school one, if you can believe it. Meanwhile, the law school was absolutely gorgeous. A year or two after they finished construction of the new law school, its accrediation went down a whole tier.
Go figure.
No offense, but your university president sounds like a real loser. Did he at least have some social graces? How do you think he got to be in that position?
